Would you like to do something nice for a Westchester staff member, but not sure where to start? Good news: our most popular teacher appreciation program, "Adopt-A-Teacher," is back for the 2025-2026 school year!
To "adopt" a Westchester staff member, please fill out this short application. The PTA teacher appreciation committee will match you, and you'll receive your "adopted" staff member's name and list of their favorite things to your email.
By completing the form, you agree to give a small gift or treat to your staff member each month. Gifts should not exceed the $5-$15 range and do not need to be elaborate. They are meant to put a smile on your staff member's face and serve as a reminder that all their hard work is appreciated!

You may request specific staff members in your application, but it is not guaranteed that you will receive your first choice. We want to make sure all 70+ staff members are paired with an adoptive student and family!

Small gift cards, snacks, drinks, cute teaching supplies, holiday-themed decorations, and hand-written notes are favorites!

We encourage you to deliver your gifts during the first week of the month, but there is no deadline!

You may drop the gift at the front office, or send it into school with your student who can either bring it to the front office or to the staff member directly.
