PTA Meeting FAQs

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, childcare is provided by volunteers from Catonsville Middle School. Children play in the gym, just down the hall from the library, for the duration of the meeting. Because our volunteers are middle school students, supervision is informal. You may bring preschool-aged siblings at your own discretion.

How long is the meeting?

We do our best to be finished in an hour. Depending on discussion during agenda items, we may run a bit long, but our goal is to complete the meeting as close to 7:30 as possible.

Is there a virtual meeting option?

Yes! This is a new initiative for the PTA board and we are still working to perfect our process. It is monitored by a PTA board member, so virtual attendees can use the chat feature to ask questions and provide input during the meeting. We are currently using Google Meet, which will time out if the meeting runs over one hour. We apologize for this inconvenience; we're working on a more permanent solution.
