We are so pleased to announce the first PTA Speaker Series event will be held during our usual PTA meeting time on Monday, November 9, at 6:30 p.m. in the WES cafeteria. This is a free event and childcare will be provided by CMS student volunteers.

In this talk, you will learn what current research tells us about how screens, digital media, and constant connectivity are shaping children’s mental health, attention, sleep, dopamine-driven motivation, and social development. We’ll explore what may be getting lost in an increasingly digital childhood — and, importantly, what parents can realistically do, both individually and as a community, to support healthier development for children and adolescents.
